Arizona Iced Tea
I love Iced tea, and there arent many options aside from lipton and fuzetea(even fuzetea is only in the odd vending machine and asian takeout place where I live). Both, i feel have fairly high sugar contents, although they don't taste overly sweet, at roughly ~5g per 100ml.
Today, Arizona iced tea came into stock at my IGA, imported from the US, so I got some to try because I love iced tea.
In the single can, there is 100 grams of sugar. And holy shit it just tastes like sugar with a hint of peach tea, i want peach iced tea not sugar water. it works out to ~15 grams of sugar per 100ml. 15 percent sugar by volume.
How the fuck am I meant to drink this? it tasted more like cordial than iced tea, so i actually treated it like a concentrate and 1-1 Arizona Iced Tea with water still feels like too much sugar.
As much as I hate that it is soo sugary, this is great news. Because now, im my mind, there is iced tea cordial sold at my grocery store in the middle of nowhere, and its roughly the same price as actual cordial.
