Thoughts Of A Guy Named Mason

Day one of sailing

Digitised Journal From Sailing, 12/04

A large boat for sailing on. I predicted incorrectly, there are 24 trainees on this boat. There are more people on this boat than in my year level at school. It functions as if a year level split into 3 classes, those are the people you spend time with. The end of day one and there are people I havent even seen yet let alone know the name of. In 50 minutes my group is going on watch until 8pm. We are meant to have dinner before then. And then we have to wake up for a 4-8am. I predict we will then have an 8-12pm tomorow night.

We had soup for lunch, it was mostly gelatenous water, but there was an lot of bread to go with it.

In my group there is a guy who also likes film cameras and also bought a harmonica and also likes listening to music and also is wearing a beanie. There is another who is like on of my friends from my last camp/adventure at calperum station.

There is a white rectangle in the distance beside the (york) peninsula. It has not moved, I don't think it is a boat.
