Thoughts Of A Guy Named Mason

I don't know what to do so im going to go find something to do

I'm in the middle of the 2 week school holidays at the end of each term.

It is very difficult not having anything that needs to be done.

All the time I manage to feel like I am wasting time even though there is nothing i have to do with the time, which i think is the root of the problem.

If i just try to set a goal for myself though, it is always a small simple goal that i know i can achieve. They are all short term goals that will be finished by the end of the day.

This is a good thing to do when these goals compile and work together to accomplish something bigger but they are not.

I do not have anything bigger that i can actually do.

One idea i have for a bigger goal to work towards is just life. what is something on the scale of life that I can work towards?

School - No, because there is no school stuff to do in the school holidays.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

What about; where do i want to be after school?

I guess university. In what exactly, well, Currently I am very interested in urban design and transport planning.

But with that. It is not something i have any clue how i can learn more about without getting experience in. I do not struggle to use transport planning and urban design concepts in cities skylines or openttd.

But that is a problem. I do not struggle - I am not learning. And the repetitive nature of these games have sort of left them stale for me.

The only thing i can really think of is to actually get experience with it...

I would like to tell myself that I can't get experience with this because A; it is a relatively niche part of planning a city or town, and B; I am too young to actually get a chance to do so.

I would love to prove myself wrong though.

I probably will now go brainstorm how can I can actually find real life experience.

Thanks for listening to a rant. why did you read that?
