I MADE A WEBSITE
Like, from scratch I coded it and my golly gosh this is soo fun.
I made it in go because i dont know why i just did. All it does is serve 1 static html page but i am still so proud of it.
I bought a domain on cloudflare, masondoesthings.com (flashbang warning), for 17 australian dollars. and i spent a solid hour debugging why it wasnt sending anything through the dns before i realised i had mistyped the url.
Today I first started off with this making a website idea with a static page on github i got sick of quickly because funnilly enough vannilla html, css and javascript isnt the nicest thing to program in. So then I ended up programing a server, and lucky me i realised cloudflare does reverse proxies before i even thought about trying to do security myself.
and for server hosting i used digitalocean if anyones intersted. I did that because im pretty sure bearblogs media feature uses digitalocean as a cdn... and i reckonised the name from that.
If you want to look at how bad my code is, its all on github and the origional idea was to make a google docs clone, might still do that, that is why it is called documents.
