Microwave noodles and pouched egg
I have been getting into cooking lately, mainly because I love eating and I love not spending money on someone else cooking. But also because it is actually very fun to experiment with the different ways to change the texture and flavour of a dish.
I really love making fancy sandwiches, and Subway is a million times worse than me with a euro roll, some vegetables and cold meat. Also because its fun to make vegetables taste more interesting, even without trying to mask the taste of vegetables, I have learnt that multiple of them can create a more interesting taste that doesnt make me feel like im eating leaves off a tree.
Before I started making nice sandwhiches for lunch and assorted egg dishes for breakfast I used to have a lot of air fryer and microwave food, notable microwave noodles. But actually cooking has showed me that I can cook with chicken nuggets or microwave noodles as an ingredient rather than the entire meal. For example, the other week I made apricot chicken on rice with air fried chicken nuggets that i glazed in a soy sauce and apricot jam mixture. And yesterday for brunch I made microwave noodles but with a pouched egg in the water and cheese. It was very very good.
