Monologue
I have cobbled together a project in a few hours.
It all started yesterday when I thought. "What if I had a notes app... that was structured like twitter?". As I wrote in my blog post about that thought:
What about a notes app that is structured like a microblogging platform? But what if we don't actually expose it to viewing? What about a private microblogging platform that is just your own posts?
That was the idea of it all.
And then when I woke up this morning I had an email from jess telling me that she had a similar thought. She then asked me if I thought about actually making something from it?
Funily enough yesterday I told myself that I am finished with my masonry grid script. And I found myself with a gap in my brain for a new project. I had actually imagined that I would get back into game development after I was done with that, but so far this has been more fun.
Monologue was what I decided to call it, and it is such a shame I decided that before looking at domains because wow everything is taken or for sale at an exorbitant price. This was the only one I could find at a reasonable price, 10 dollars a year at cloudflare - which is great because my other domain for messing around is also at cloudflare. While I was adding every domain ending I could think of onto the end of the word monologue, I actually came across a bear blog! which I think is pretty cool.
The site is currently up through cloudflare pages (Somehow easier to set up than github pages?) It is really just a note app. I will continue to add features to it, you cant even delete or edit a post and it doesnt support images yet. But this is only version 1.
