A review of Peneshaw IGA
A biased review of Peneshaw IGA, Kangaroo island, South Australia.
The store is laid out well, much more enjoyable to explore than the endless repeated aisles of my home IGA or any coorporate grocery store(Coles, Woolies, Aldi). However it sees a similar amount of customers compared to my home IGA and is seveerly understaffed and under-checkout equippes for the demand - and this is off tourist season. There are only 2 checkouts that seem to be functioning, the other does not have access to the exit door.
The Peneshaw IGA has minimal parking out the front and is situated in a fairly walkable area.
However, being on kangaroo island, prices are higher - but also inconsistent. The cost of dare branded iced coffee fluxuates based on flavour. Which is great for me who enjoys one of the cheaper flavours - mocha.
