Just like I have (recently)[] Ava also seems to find herself with too little time to do to many things.
I imagine she is more disciplibed than me to carry through with her schedule if she goes on a tangent today. But if she isn't or just doesn't want to blow up her schedule then I would suggest writing your question on a sticky note and putting it on your wall.
My sticky notes melted off the wall so I got a pinboard but the premise remains the same: physically obstruct your spare time with things that you should be doing.
And remember that momentum comes from starting. Not from standing still.
