Scoping projects

One notable thing I learnt in the past week was how to narrow the scope of a project to something that still meets the criteria.

The project I had to do at HOTR litteraly had no requirement other than the presentation format and ecology based. Scoping that is fairly easy because of the vagueness of it.

In science today I have been told I have 3 lessons to start and finish a project, presented in any format, and realistically if your good at paraphrasing then just on the subject of the carbon cycle. I love that this is purposefully broad because it gives me an excuse to write about the inefficiencies of automobiles again.

And scoping my science project is really easy because I know if i don't end up writing all 7 paragraphs I planned, Its not the end of the world if I don't explore a solution, or the problems that come with implementing mass rail or active transport everywhere. The only thing I need to focus on is the environmental impacts of cars; which is easy, because its intuitive. Burning fuel creates greenhouse gases that get pumped into the atmosphere, doing this on the scale of hundreds of millions causes a severe disproportion in the co2 levels of the atmosphere.
