Thoughts Of A Guy Named Mason

Stop procrastinating and start doing

Thinking, procrastinatong, observing before you do.

During all of this I cant notice the lack of doing. It is a lot of time spent on what will enevitably be a binary -- do or dont do -- Result.

I jumped off the cliff without a parachute

Notice the past tense and the doing in this quote.

Whoever is saying it jumped off the cliff and survived?

You could spend all this time, readying yourself, making sure you have all the safety nets in the world, making a parachute from scratch.

When you could just... not? Go for it?

And if might seem stupid to jump without precuation. But humans are known for being stupid are they not? And you are human?

Humans are still here?

So why can't you do something human?

And dont be stuborn there are no aliens reading this.

Now like... if you do take a risk, will it be the end of the world? we are calling it that, a risk, not certain failure.

A risk does imply that there are dangers for a plausible succsess.

And what is the worst that could happen? You fuck up and learn?

Time for an andecdote.

When I was learning programing. the first 2 off months I couldnt do anything on my own. I always had to have a tutorial or something.

and then oneday I just.. started making something. I didnt know what I was doing, and then I spent 2 weeks making a calculator.. but I had learnt how to do something without the voice of a random youtuber in the background telling me what to do.

So, that person you've been meaning to talk to, or that project you havent started, or that email you havent sent. Do it..

And just as importantly I need to go remember all of these things myself
