What is the worst that could happen?
Imperfects chase infinite rejections bought up this;
girl's Substack note spoke to me:
just saw a girl explain that she tired to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning beauty pageants, securing paid brand deals, appearing in commercials. this is your sign to chase rejection to the point of “accidental” success. you’ll be suprised.
I remember hearing about someone trying that at the start of last year. I think i heard it just before I applied to go on the health of the river forum, and I think that sort of idea of whats the worst that could happen from asking was in my head when I did it.
I had a similar accidental success when I needed to find someone else to go because the sponsor had put forward for 2 students to go.
What is the worst that could happen from asking? has been in the back of my head since. It is interesting to be reminded of where that idea came from.
