why are people annoying to just have a conversation with
Mia stegnar. A musician. Her songs have really connected with me in the past 20 minutes.
One of them, nothing is required, i had heard before. But today it hit different. The underlying message is very similar to the complaints my "friends" at school make about everything. "There is no reason why i need to do that, or schoolwork, or explain something properly, or be kind"
My friends aways tik me off whenever they complain about something. They are always intrusive to what im doing and seem like they expect me to have a magical solution for lazy people be aude im smart or something. And thry are rude, and i can tell them "your being rude please leave me alone" and there acknoledgement of that is rude.
The rather anoying thing is. To me, im not smart. "For i was councious that i knew nothing" -socrates. Isnt how i think either, i am just a person, i cant prove that i know nothing but i also cant prove there arent things i dont know. I dont overthink it too much.
The big difference betweens mia's song and my friends is the formality and vibe. The song is sort of a gentle unintrusive resignation, however my friends are very intrusive and hyperbolic about it, and rude.
I would like to blame social media for the reason my friends behave this waym hyperboles get clicks, honest admitions and talks dont. Independant blogs and people sharing their day to day lives normally is already a neiche section of the internet. And it seems that is reflected in reality
Maybe i am doing rxactly what i complain about. Maybe someone who clicked on this post was looking for a more nuanced abstraction and left because they felt i was being overly intrusive given the context.
Thanks for reading, have a better day than me 👍
