why do i do soo many speeches
Within the span of a fortnight starting the second last froday i would have performed 4 speeches/presentations.
Now yes, 3 of these are the same presentstion to a different group of people but i still have 3 seperate events.
Tonight i have just finished a speech at my local rotary clubs monthly meeting about the camp i went on 7 weeks ago, the health of the river forum at calperum station.
I was one of 3 people thag gave a speech tonight. And despite feeling like i was stumbling every word and breathing to loudly into the microphone and shit i just said fucking awesome infront of 2 dozen retirees, i still managed to feel like i did excellent. One of the other guys said i dont know to every question and had nothing prepared and the other also stumbled over his words but just didnt provide context for what he said. As every teacher ive met would say, answer with question stems.
I also for some reason got given a tackle box as a thank you... i do not go fishing and there is currntly a fishing ban with the algal bloom.
However i do believe i can upcycle some of the stuff, the box itself can hold nicknacka and small things, the hooks i dont have a use for but there was a fishing line spool i could use to hold my 3d printing filament which DIDNT COME WITH A SPOOL AND WAS JUST A BUNCH OF PLASTIC IN A BAG.
